Healing traumatic memories is not one-time event. It consists of 5 distinct stages that one has to complete in order for healing to occur. My story illustrates how one can get stuck in one of the stages and be totally unaware of it until he or she hits rock bottom. In my presentation, I will describe the 5 stages of healing memories and give examples from my own experience so it can help others to be aware of them and take appropriate action.
Understanding what self limiting beliefs are, how they are developed and how to change them
Learn how fear and shame keep people in addiction, and how the church can help by showing acceptance and love to these hurting people.
Coming from a Christian/biblical perspective, the presenter will discuss the foundation for true freedom from any addiction or cycle of negative behavior; and the critical role of mindset including research on the importance of having a “growth mindset.”

Decisions - they are the rudder of the boat that steers our lives. The problem is that we don't necessarily remember the decisions we have made in childhood, or those that were made for us by caretakers and people in authority over us. We assume that our foundational beliefs are true and act upon them without ever revisiting them. Unfortunately, some of those decisions and beliefs are destroying us, keeping us hyper-vigilant and stressed, which is why we keep returning to our addictions. Learn how to uncover, review and consciously change those decisions from the viewpoint of an adult, and transform your life in the process.
